IPTV Smarters says “Failed to authorize”
You enter your details in IPTV Smarters (or a similar player), press Add User or Login, and get “Failed to authorize”, “Authorization failed” or “Invalid username or password” instead of the channel list.
1.The server address is not in the form the player expects
Copy the server URL exactly as it appears in your welcome email, including http:// and the port number after the colon (for example :8080). Remove any space at the start or end, and anything added after the port such as a trailing slash or /get.php — the player builds that part itself.
2.A typo in the username or password
Both are case-sensitive, and a capital O and a zero look alike on a television keyboard. Type them on a phone first to confirm they work, or copy and paste them from the email rather than retyping.
3.The wrong login type was chosen
Smarters offers several ways in. With a server URL, username and password, choose “Login with Xtream Codes API”. With a single long link, choose “Load your playlist or file/URL” instead. Using the wrong one fails even with correct details.
4.The subscription has not been activated yet, or has ended
Details that arrive before activation is complete, or after the period you paid for, are refused with exactly this message. Check the dates in your welcome email; a renewal keeps the same username and password.
5.Another device is already signed in and watching
One subscription allows one stream at a time. Stop playback on the other device, close the app there, and try again.
6.The service is briefly unavailable
If details that worked yesterday fail today on every device, the problem is not on your side. Wait a few minutes and try once more before changing anything.
When to write to us: If the details are copied exactly from the email and still fail on a second device, write to us with a screenshot of the error and the device you are using. We check the account on our side and reply with what we find.
